New Brighton’s First ever DevCom Day

New Brighton’s First ever DevCom Day

C’Mon Sa Brighton is the first ever Inter-school contests organized by New Brighton School of the Philippines Inc. this year. This was opened to all Grade 10 & 12 students of General Santos City that aims to provide a healthy ground for competition and showcase of skills and talents among young Generals during this pandemic. One of the major activities for this program is the first ever DEVCOM Day.

NBSPI’s DEVCOM Day was held virtually last March 19, 2021, via the Facebook Page of New Brighton. Prior to this date, there were contests opened to all creative writers and impromptu speakers. These were Essay Writing Contest & Extemporaneous Speaking respectively. NBSPI Students for both Senior High School & College categories were also given time to showcase their skills in the Debate Competition.

The DEVCOM DAY was headlined by a Free Webinar dubbed as “Embracing Digital: Education & Career Opportunities in the New Normal”. The resource speaker of this webinar was Ma. Lourdes Y. Bayona – CEO & Founder of Virtualist Media. Our speaker was able to share her knowledge on how to fully adapt to the digital age while exploring ways & opportunities surrounding this era.
