STRAND OFFERED
Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM)
This strand is designed as an introductory course in accounting and business management where students are trained to think logically and are acquianted with the fundamentals of accounting, business and management concepts and principles. This strand aims to prepare them to pursue college degress that focus on business and industry where their contribution as future accountants, entrepreneurs, and business practitioners and leaders are vital to the progress and development of the economy.
Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS)
This strand equips students with theoritical knowledge and practical skills that will help them become competitive in areas of technical and creative writing, communication, education and human resource development. This strand prepares students to purse college degrees that will enable them to have a deeper understanding of arts, culture, literature, politics and society. Further, this strand will help them understand the complex interpay of these facets, and help them appreciate individual and social group behaviors and the pressing issues relative to them.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
This strand will develop the students’ ability to evaluate simple to complex societal problems and be responsive and active in the formulation of its solution through the application and integration of scientific, technological, engineering, and mathematical concepts. This strand prepares them to pursue college degrees that focus on the problems of the natural world thereby leading them to become future scientists, technological analysts and experts, engineers, mathematicians, programmers, and the like.
